AsuraRO — Rules & Policies

Welcome to AsuraRO! By playing on our server, you agree to follow these rules. We use common sense when enforcing them; staff may act on behavior that clearly harms the community even if it’s not listed verbatim.

TL;DR

  • Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or griefing.

  • No bots, macro farming, packet edits, or automation.

  • No exploits/bug abuse or third-party cheats. Report them instead.

  • No real-money trading (RMT) or selling accounts/items/zeny for cash.

  • One player = your own characters only. No multi-client abuse.

  • Trade honestly. Scamming/impersonating staff is bannable.

  • Character and guild names must be appropriate.

  • Follow GM instructions. Appeals exist, but staff decisions stand.

1) Conduct & Community

1.1 Respect others. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, or targeted toxicity.
1.2 No impersonation. Do not pretend to be a GM/staff or another player.
1.3 Keep chats clean. No excessive spam, advertising other servers, or NSFW content in public channels.
1.4 English in global chats (unless a channel is designated otherwise).

2) Accounts & Security

2.1 You are responsible for your account. Do not share accounts; lost items due to sharing/phishing are your risk.
2.2 Unique email & strong password required.
2.3 No buying/selling/trading accounts (see §7 RMT).

3) Gameplay & Fair Play

3.1 No automation/bots/macros/packet edits. This includes auto-healing, auto-potting, auto-farm, clickers, pixel bots, AI scripts, and any tool playing the game for you.
3.2 No client or data edits that confer advantage (e.g., removing effects, enlarging hitboxes, skill range edits). Cosmetic GRFs that don’t give advantage are fine. When in doubt, ask.
3.3 No exploits/bug abuse/duplication. Report immediately to staff; do not spread methods. Rewards may be given for responsible reporting.
3.4 AFK play. Leeching is allowed if a human is actively present. AFK farming/auto-recast via tools is not.
3.5 Multi-clienting. Allowed within reason for utility (e.g., buffing, vending). Abuse (e.g., army of alts dominating content) is prohibited; staff may limit or penalize.
3.6 Kill-steal & grief. Don’t intentionally disrupt others (persistent KS, mob luring, map denial). Repeated reports = action.
3.7 MVP/Instance etiquette. Don’t block entrances, trap spawns, or harass contesting parties. Last-hit isn’t the only metric; griefing can still be punished.

4) Chat, Naming, and Visuals

4.1 Names (character, pet, guild, party, shop) must be appropriate—no hate, slurs, sexual content, impersonation, or staff-like names.
4.2 Shops & vend titles must be accurate; no baiting or deceptive pricing.
4.3 Cosmetic mods/GRFs allowed if they don’t hide skill effects/ground indicators or convey tactical advantage.

5) Trading, Economy & Scams

5.1 Trade honestly. Do not scam, switch items last second, or misrepresent refine/cards.
5.2 Middleman. For large trades, request a GM middleman in #support (when available).
5.3 Price fixing & collusion. Coordinated market manipulation to harm the economy may result in intervention.

6) Third-Party Tools (Examples)

  • Not allowed: Bot programs (OpenKore, AHK/AutoIt automation, packet injectors), memory editors, macro recorders, clickers, overlays that read game memory.

  • Allowed: Voice chat, screen capture/streaming tools, cosmetic GRFs (no advantage), reshade that doesn’t obscure effects. When uncertain, ask first.

7) RMT (Real-Money Trading)

7.1 Strictly prohibited. No buying/selling/trading items, zeny, services, or accounts for real money, crypto, gift cards, or off-server currency.
7.2 Advertising RMT (even “testing interest”) is bannable.

8) PvP, WoE & Competitive Play

8.1 Play fair. No intentional feeding, win-trading, or match manipulation.
8.2 Stream sniping/DDoS/targeted harassment crosses into immediate severe action.
8.3 Guild responsibilities. Leaders are expected to moderate members; organized rule-breaking can lead to collective penalties (castle rewards revoked, temp suspensions, etc.).

9) Staff & Support

9.1 Follow GM directions. If a GM requests information or action, comply.
9.2 Staff harassment is not tolerated. Disagree respectfully; use the appeal process.
9.3 Do not ping GMs for favoritism. Staff won’t spawn items, adjust drops, or intervene in fair defeats.

10) Streaming & Content Creation

10.1 Streaming is welcome. Please tag spoilers and follow platform ToS.
10.2 No doxxing/sending raids to harass. Coordinate events with staff if needed.
10.3 Using cheats on stream is still cheating. Expect swift action.

11) Enforcement & Penalties

Penalties scale with severity and history. Staff may escalate immediately for egregious cases.

Note: Severe abuse (RMT, dupes, DDoS, hate speech) can jump straight to permanent ban. Confession/cooperation may reduce penalties at staff discretion.

12) Appeals

  • Open a ticket in #support on our Discord or email [[email protected]] within 7 days of the action.

  • Provide: character name(s), date/time, what happened, and any proof (screenshots, video).

  • Decisions after review are final unless new evidence surfaces.

13) Rule Changes

We may update rules to protect the community and economy. Updates will be posted on the website/Discord. Continued play implies acceptance.
